Nicole by OPI: Pink Inner Sparkle and OPI Panda-monium Pink

OPI Panda-monium pink and Nicole by OPI Inner Sparkle

Hello everyone,
Last week I decided to do a pink combination since I bought the new pink glitter from the Selena Gomez collection in the Nicole by OPI collection.  I don't normally wear glitter but I thought it would be fun.  I layered the NOPI Inner Sparkle on top of my favourite pink polish which is OPI Panda-monium pink from the Hong Kong collection in 2010.  I used two coats of Panda-monium pink and one coat of Inner Sparkle to create the look for my nails.

Thoughts:
I liked Inner Sparkle.  The formula is a bit thick.  I have used other glitter nail polishes before but I was not used to applying this one since the polish is very densely packed with glitter and the formula is pretty thick.  I wanted the glitter to be more spread out so that the pink and purple glitter would stand out so I had to brush off a lot of excess glitter polish before applying it on my nails.  My right and nails (not pictured) has less glitter than my left hand nails.  I'm pretty sure the glitter is very noticeable from a far distance because I had two coworkers comment on how lovely my nail polish was.  I received another compliment when I was checking out my items at Sephora and the cashier complimented my nails and took my hand to get a closer look.  That has never happened to me before in my life.  This look lasted me for 5 days before it started to chip.

butter LONDON: Two Fingered Salute

My first blog post!  Welcome to my blog.  I've been meaning to start a blog but I finally went through the process as my New Year's Resolution.  There are many nail polish swatch blogs out there, but I find that although there are so many, I still like to see different types of swatches.

I am working out a bit of things for now, but on to my first swatch!

I saw this swatch on another blog, and I believe in the US it is available as an exclusive to Nordstrom only.  Since I live in Canada, I was bummed out that I may have to resort to buying this off of eBay at an expensive price.  I actually tried looking and at the beginning there wasn't a posting, and afterwards it was too expensive.  Luckily for me, I found it at Holt Renfrew!

I really like cool colours, so I instantly loved this.  It's like a really elegant looking muted green with fine cooper glitter.  I wore this to work and although it is not a typical office colour, I don't think I caught anyone's attention.  It was easy to apply since the polish is pretty thin.  I used a Revlon base coat, two coats of Two Fingered Salute and butter London topcoat.  It started chipping after 3 days but that could be the combination of base coat and top coat.
