Hello! My name is Robba and I'm from Toronto, Canada. I decided to start a blog for my 2013 New Year's resolution. Specifically for nail polish swatches. The main reason is that I've been wanting to do this for quite sometime but never acted upon my desire to do so. As I reflect, I realized I've always had a love for nail polish in some way.
I remember when I was a kid, I would buy nail polish from the dollar store and drug store. I used to use nail polish to decorate hair pins because they became so pretty after I coloured them. My fondest memory from my childhood was when I was when I was getting a vaccination in school and I wore this light blue nail polish. The nurse had complemented on how beautiful the colour was and how she didn't have access to those colours back then. This would have been around 1997 when she had said this.
Now looking back, I had stopped buying nail polish and anything colourful since I only ventured out to the drugstore to shop and the selection at the time was getting boring. Years later when I was 25, my friend introduced me to luxurious make up brands and Sephora had opened in Canada. My non-existent make up collection suddenly exploded and continued to expand for the past few years. I mainly spend on eye shadow or nail polish. Nail polish has become my obsession. The range is so wide and beautiful.
I decided to start a blog for two main reasons. Since I have so many bottles, it'd be fun for me to actually wear and swatch those colours. My second reason is that I would like to share my collection. I don't claim to be an expert, and the quality of my photos may not be in high definition or perfect, but in life things in front of you aren't going to always be in high definition or perfect.
Thank you so much for stopping by my little blog!
