Today I have a bright red for you. Essie's Watermelon is like a bright red. It's a red that leans more pink? I'm not sure if that makes sense because pink is based on red and white. I just want to mention that I wore this manicure in February. This is the reason you will see an outside picture with some snow.
Thoughts
Watermelon is very pigmented. I painted my nails pretty late at night, and my nails were covered after one coat. I could have just painted the top coat but to just make it even out, I added the second coat. I really like the way it looks with two coats. I was able to wear this for four days with minimal chipping. I must add something interesting. I'm not sure if it was the topcoat or the polish but if I were to accidentally scratch my hands on a white piece of paper, the polish would get on it. This has happened to me before, and it also happened to be a red polish. Weird. Also when I removed the polish, there was a bit minor staining. It was easily removed but I just thought I would note that.

Outdoor lighting in the morning. It's a pretty vibrant colour and I took this picture while it was still winter.
I bought Essie Watermelon a while ago and don't remember exactly where I bought it. It is available in drugstores and salons between C$7.79-11.99 for 13.5 mL (0.46 Fl. Oz.)
