What a busy week last week was! Happy Thanksgiving to my American friends! I did some online shopping for some Black Friday/weekend deals. It's funny that Thanksgiving happened in the US (Canada's Thanksgiving is in October), we also get Black Friday deals to prevent Canadians from crossing the border to get these deals. I needed some stuff but I also managed to buy Christmas gifts.
I watched Catching Fire last week, and I loved it. There were some changes between the book and the movie but, while I was rereading Catching Fire, I already assumed those items would be cut. They kept my favourite lines from the book, so that's all that matters. I would totally rewatch this in the theatre!
We also received our first snow fall, so it's been a bit more chilly. I have already taken out my winter jacket. So I look super bundled up.
Anyway, enough about my week, today I have a review of OPI's I Knead Sour-dough. This is part of the San Francisco Fall collection. I honestly bought this after seeing a post on OPI's Facebook page. Though the colour on the page looked darker, I figured since there's always different lighting, I need this colour in my life for the dark shifts in lighting.
Thoughts
I Knead Sour-dough is a very pigmented colour, and it's pretty thick. You probably can get away with one coat but I did two since I was pretty sloppy with the first coat. The colour is like a dark pink-plum? I originally thought of it as a dark pink, but when I showed my coworker, she said it looked plum like. Obviously not the dark, purple plum, but a different type of dehydrated fruit colour. There's a fine shimmer that adds another level to this polish and it really makes the finish nice.
Basecoat: Seche Base
Colour layer: OPI I Knead Sour-dough (2 coats)
Topcoat: Seche Vite
I bought I Knead Sour-dough at Trade Secrets. It retails for C$9.99 (15mL- 0.5 Fl.Oz)
