I have a spring polish to share today. It's part of Zoya's Lovely Collection for 2013. I usually don't buy Zoya polishes because I bought a polish called Blossom and it was very sheer. I ended up layering 3 thick coats for it to show. Though it is on the website as a #2 for sheer quality with #1 being the most sheer, so I should have known better. This was a few years ago when I was starting to get into polish. I have bought a few other Zoya polishes when they were on clearance or if I found a colour that was not available in the other brands.
The name on the Zoya website says GeiGei but my bottle says GieGie. I think many other beauty bloggers have mentioned this. This spring I've bought a lot of Zoya polishes.
Thoughts:
I really like this colour. It's so girly and delicate. On the Zoya website, it's described as a "full-coverage, blushing cherry blossom pink metallic". It's hard for me describe the formula because I didn't twist the entire cap before putting it away and since I just place it in a bag of all my new polishes, the polish started to pool a little. Lucky for me, it didn't get outside of the bottle. It only developed a pool within the cap. I honestly think if it was more tilted, it would just start leaking outside. So I don't know if it's thick naturally or it's because it was exposed to a little bit of air. I guess I'm more upset at myself for loosing that 10% of product lol.
Breakdown:

Colour Coat: Zoya GieGie (2 coats)
Top coat: Nicole by OPI Top Coat Plus
This is 15mL and I bought this online at Nail Polish Canada for $8.75.
Comparison: Metallic Pinks
After I swatched this, it reminded me a lot of my other pinks with this type of finish. I never though of this as metallic, I usually thought that it had some shimmer. Anyway, I decided to compare the polish colours I have.
Bottle shot from L to R: Zoya GieGie, OPI Petal Faster Suzi!, OPI Princesses Rule, Nicole by OPI Dream Maker
Another bottle shot
Colour wheel comparison with 3 coats of polish. From here, GieGie and Petal Faster Suzi looks quite similar. The application is different though. Petal Faster Suzi is thinner BUT that could be due to my not fully twisted problem with GieGie (entirely my fault). This swatch also shows how different Petal Faster Suzi is compared to Princesses Rule.
I would say that Petal Faster Suzi is a shade slightly darker than GieGie.
