Color Club: Wild Cactus

Today I have Color Club's Wild Cactus to share.  My favourite colours happen to be blue and green.  My clothes happen to mainly be black, grey, green, blue and purple.  I have a few pinks and light colours here and there but that's not often.  I've been told that I look great in warm colours but while shopping, my eyes are attracted to the cool tone colours.

This year, Pantone declared that the colour of the year was Emerald.  To be honest, I never heard of Pantone until last year when they teamed up with Sephora for the Tangerine Tango collection, but I googled it and apparently they announce a colour annually.

I decided to buy Wild Cactus because I saw it on another blogger's post and I thought it was beautiful.  Sephora has their own green nail polish to celebrate the colour of the year but it's always sold out, and from the swatches, I think Wild Cactus is what I was looking for.  I don't own a green like this in my collection. I have mints or dark greens, so this is perfect.

Thoughts:
I have never owned a Color Club polish before.  I've seen some of the polishes at Winners but I never bought it because it seems like everyone opens the bottles at Winners.

The applications was very easy with this polish.  I used two coats but it was opaque with one. I must apologize in advance because I swatched this quite messily.

Breakdown:
Base coat: Nicole by OPI Base Coat Plus
Colour Coat: Color Club Wild Cactus (2 coats)
Top coat: Nicole by OPI Top Coat Plus

Brush shot

Due to the sun, the colour is actually not as bright as this

I would say this is the truest colour pigment from all my pictures

The bottle has 15mL and I bought this at Nail Polish Canada for C$8.00.
