Brown Gradient Look

I wore this look because I saw on OPI UK Instagram that had a gradient of browns, which looked a lot better than my pictures below since it was more of a gradual change, mine is pretty dramatic especially for my thumb colour.  I didn't have all the colours that the instagram picture had, and I'm not quite sure which colours they used anyway.

These are the colours I used.  From L to R: OPI Suzi Loves Cowboys, Essie The Glamours Purse, Essie Sand of a Beach, Essie Sand Tropez, and Essie Topless & Barefoot

Thoughts
These aren't new Essie's and I've had them for a while but I just thought they applied like a dream.  The reason I wanted to mention the Essie polishes and how they applied was because I always think that Essie polishes are a hit or a miss for me.  I don't want them to be too thick.  Usually the first coat is streaky and the second evens out.  I was just disappointed with my most recent Essie Polish (Go Ginza), that when I applied these, I was so happy with the formula.  The OPI was pretty good too but for the look, it was a little dark.

Basically these are the only colours of this range in my collection.  I have one that is another Essie but it had a more of a yellow base tint that I decided not to use this.  Instead I went with Sand of a Beach.  There is fine pink shimmer.  Painting this colour made me realize once more how lovely that colour is.

This pictures will be awkward because I was trying to angle my thumb.  I never realized how uncomfortable it was to have a pose like this.

I bought all these polishes a while ago.  I checked online and they are still available at Trade Secrets.  I've seen the Essie polishes at Wal-Mart and Trade Secrets as well.
