A-England - Sleeping Palace

When the Brune-Jones Dream collection came out, I wasn't sure if I wanted anything.  I honestly have many a-england polishes but I haven't worn that many.  When I saw the swatches for Sleeping Palace, I knew I wanted it.  It was the perfect purple shade.

I have received two compliments from it.  One from a coworker, who really likes purple and another from the Illamasqua kiosk at The Bay.  I honestly don't really care if I receive compliments on my nail polish colours or not, but it's nice and if you're reading this because you're trying to decide whether you want to buy this polish or not, it might matter to you.

Thoughts
The polish was so easy to apply, which goes for my other experience with a-england.  I found that since the brush is small and thin, it's pretty easy to apply the polish.  This polish was a little thicker than my other a-england but I still managed to apply thin coats.  It was pretty opaque after one coat but I added another just in case and to even out anything.

I found this colour very interesting.  It's dark purple with copper as the holograph.  Very pretty!  Under light, mainly incandescent light bulbs or fluorescent lighting, the colour comes off brilliantly.  I feel like I can see the depth in the copper, and the colour looks like a darker purple.  I stare at how beautiful the colour is. It's a little weird but I do it.

Under natural light or, my office lighting (which also is fluorescent lighting) the shade comes off more dull.  The copper isn't as brilliant as it is under the yellow bulb light.  I haven't been able to view under the sun since the sun is going down earlier, I see it the way it is mostly under natural light, instead of shining it directly with sunlight.  While it's nice to see it directly under sunlight, I don't have sunlight shining directly under me all the time.

Under incandescent light. I realized I forgot to take pictures of the bottle and brush.  I apologize in advance.

This picture turned a little blurry but it allows you to see the holographic effect

I bought a-england's Sleeping Palace at nailpolishcanada.com.  Retails for C$13.50 for 13mL.
