Essie: As Gold as it Gets

I recently reviewed Lady Like.  My polish started to chip a little so I decided to add another top coat.  I wondered how it would look with the Luxeffects As Gold as it Gets.  After I placed it on, I really LOVED how it looked with Lady Like.  

Currently there is some renovations with my home and I felt like adding this Luxeffects kind of made my nails look like the tile finish, kind of with colours and then pieces of sparkles.

As Gold As It Gets isn't gold glitter but small gold pieces in different sizes.  I would also describe it as adding a very old/vintage feel to the colour.  Since I added As Gold As It Gets to Lady Like, which is a nude, the effect was very subtle but personally I felt like it added another level of subtle beauty to it.

Some quick shots of the bottle and my look.  I am using my right hand since my left pinky has a little chip.  It's a lot more difficult to take pictures with my left hand since all the buttons are for my right.  I tried my best :)

Again taken right after I painted my nails.  I didn't add another layer of top coat since I painted this on my existing manicure.

It's really hard to capture just how beautiful As Gold As It Gets is (This is my 3rd day of wear with the top coat and 6th day with Lady Like).

The Luxeffects came out in 2011.  They are still available at all the stores that carry Essie products.
