IMATS Toronto 2014!

Hi Everyone!
My coworker bought IMATS tickets originally for her and her cousin to go but her cousin backed out so I went!

I had a great time.  I did some shopping but I think what I enjoyed the most was seeing all the products and people doing demonstrations on models.
I sat in a few sessions.  I was there from 9am-1:45pm.  The session I sat in and I really enjoyed was Eve Pearl's session on quoting the correct rates (even though I'm not a make up artist, I really enjoyed that).
My coworker bought our tickets in July. So I paid roughly $35 after tax.

Here are my pictures after the jump:

This was the Jordane Cosmetics booth

Eve Pearl booth

Nars booth

Heidi D Cosmetics. I honestly really liked how this booth looked

My Haul

I bought some falsies but they weren't that dramatic.  There was a big selection of falsies.  Mine were $1 each. I normally don't wear falsies, so I didn't want to spend too much on it.

I bought two shadows from Jordane Cosmetics.  I paid $14 something. The lady helping me said it was 2 shadows for $12, which would make it $13.56 after tax (13% tax) but it ended up to be $14 something.  I don't know.

I bought 4 brushes from Morphe brushes. I paid $16

I bought an eye shadow brush from Crown and that was $2.50.  I'm going to add this to my travel brush case.

I bought a big brush from what I'll say is MCL Beauty Distributor and it's the bdellium tools angled face brush for $13 (My most expensive brush)

I bought CND Vinylux nail polish and the top coat for $6.20 each.  I paid $14 at Classique Nail & Esthetics Distributor.  They are they only booth with nail polish so you can't miss them if you're going tomorrow.  Besides CND, they had OPI which was also $6.20 or 6 for $33.  Essie was there for maybe around $3.50? And there was China Glaze.  The OPI mini set polish was also pretty cheap. Like under $10, but I can't remember exactly what it was.  The Mariah Carey special edition top coat was $7 something which I think was retailing for $30 ~ $40 for the gold leaf.

I also got an IMATS water bottle for $10. Just for fun and my coworker bought one too.

In total, I spent $72.50.

I bought Tinted Love and the top coat.

These are my miscellaneous brushes.

My Jordane eyeshadows L to R: #7254 (I would describe this as a mauve purple with slight gold shimmer), #7244 (dark purple with silver glitter)

I only expected to walk away with maybe two brushes from Real Techniques but I recently made a purchase from nailpolishcanada so I didn't get anything.  Overall, great time at my first IMATS, even though I'm not a make up artist and I just happened to go there.

Afterwards, I had lunch at Wahlburgers.

I ordered Our Burger with tatter tots.  My nail polish is chipping but this is the look I wore last week. I'm going to post my NOTW soon. Not bad for a week of wear.
