Cover Girl: Skylight

Hello!  Today I have Cover Girl's Skylight to share.  Sometimes I buy Maybelline, Cover Girl or Revlon polishes, but I don't necessarily post it up on my blog.  I'm not sure why.  I realize if I'm going to decrease my polish collection, the drug store ones are first to go.  I'm not sure why but that's how it is.
I bought Cover Girl's Skylight at Shoppers Drug Mart during a sale.  Which was $5.99.  I think I've seen it cheaper at Wal-Mart? Yet, it caught my eye at SDM, so that's where I bought it.  It's like the perfect skyblue, which is my favourite shade of blue.  I have a lot that are too bright, or a little to the powdery side, but this one seem to be just perfect!

Thoughts
The brush is skinny but the polish is medium thick.  I only noticed this because the consistency is different from Essie or OPI.  I was able to cover my finger nails in two coats, but there were some spots I missed, so I fixed those areas up.  Overall the finish was pretty, and I didn't noticed any problems during drying time, so I'll say that the time is reasonable (I was watching something but I could tell it was mostly dried).

I own so many polishes, I can't exactly say if I'm going to rush to try another Cover Girl polish.  Normal price at SDM can be pretty expensive.  Especially now that they have their XL size and reformula.

Breakdown
Basecoat: Essie First Base
Colour layer: Cover Girl Skylight (2 coats) and Formula X Cherry Blossom (middle finger)
Topcoat:  Essie Good to Go

Side note: The reason I didn't comment on the wear of the polish is because I used only 1 coat of top coat and my flowers started to get caught up in things. I ended up removing my polish before I could test out the timing.  It was going strong though after 3 days.

Closer picture of just Skyline.

I bought Cover Girl's Skyline at Shoppers Drug Mart for C$5.99 for 11mL (0.37 fl. oz.).
