Essie: Chinchilly

Hello!

I can't believe it's already February.

I haven't posted in a while but mainly because I had taken pictures of my Chinchilly manicure from early January, and I wanted to redo the pictures.  I never ended up wearing it again (and I took a break), so that kind of make me procrastinate.  I have decided to put the pictures up because there's really nothing wrong with it except I took it at night.

Anyway, here is my review.
Thoughts
I won Chinchilly on an online contest.  It's pretty but I never felt like wearing it.  I prefer Master Plan in terms of a grey family colour.  I decided to wear Chinchilly anyway.  It is darker than Master Plan and is described as "a sleek granite gray".  I'm not sure how I like this colour on me but the application was amazing.  It was not streaky and self leveled.  I always say for Essie, there are some colours where the formula is streaky for the first coat and you might need to have three coats in total, but then there are some colours with the formula that is so amazing to work with.  This one falls in the latter category.

Breakdown
Basecoat: Seche Base
Colour layer: Essie Chinchilly (2 coats)
Topcoat: Seche Vite

I did not buy Chinchilly but I won this shade on an online contest.
