Today I have another Essie polish to share. This is part of the Spring 2013 Madison Ave-hue Collection.
Thoughts
I found the formula on this one a little difficult for me to work with. For some reason it was thick for me and I wasn't really happy with the result after two coats. I've seen other swatches of this on other blogs and it seems to be no problem for others. Maybe it's just me? I bought Go Ginza because I like cherry blossom pink and I thought the name was cute, why not? But I found it too thick so I didn't end up wearing it yet. Hopefully I'll give it another try. What I didn't like about it is, and maybe it was my application but I tried twice. Once with a thick application and another time with thin coats. I wasn't really happy with my result either way. It felt like the way my Zoya GieGie felt, as if air was exposed to it, but with GieGie, I know I accidentally left it to pool a little.

Comparisons
What I was also hoping, for some reason, is that Go Ginza would be similar to OPI Panda-monium Pink. I'm not low on Panda-monium Pink but I love it so much, and just in case I ever need a back up, it'd be nice. They are quite different. Maybe another Essie polish from Spring would have been more similar but I didn't get that one.

From a different angle
All products bought by me. I bought Go Ginza at Trade Secrets, and it's available at Walmart and Shoppers Drug Mart. The bottle is 13.5mL and it's $9.99 retail.
