Clean Up! Part 5 - Current make up collection blush and lips

Continuation of my clean out.

I was going to make one big post but it became too long, so I broke out the eyes and face foundation) make up.  This is my cheek and lipsticks.

Thanks for joining me!

Blush

1. MAC blushes. I have the Simpsons blushes and I kept the Orange collection blushes.  Both are limited edition. I absolutely love these.  For the Simpsons ones, I barely used them and was considering selling them, however I decided to keep them.  There are a slight shimmer to it that I quite like. Also it is in my colour alley of orange and pink.  I had originally tried to wear darker blushes for fall but then I realize that it wasn't me.

2. Clinique Pop Blushes in Fig and Melon. I really love Melon.  I used it so often during Spring and Summer.  It actually reminds me of a slight dupe for MAC Royal Sunset from the Orange collection.  Funny thing is, I wasn't going to buy Melon because I felt I had too many blushes. I also think Fig is perfect for me for Fall. So I'm enjoying that.  What I like about both of these blushes is that it's very easy to use. They blend out very well and there is the right amount of shimmer in them. I owned Ginger Pop but I ended up selling that because I never reached for it. Pretty colour though. I also have a chubby stick for cheeks which I received for my birthday. The colour is in Robust Rhubarb.

3. Tarte. I love Tarte blushes.  I have Blissful, Tipsy, Dazzled, Exposed, and Blushing Bride. These last a full work day. Though I must admit that I use a heavy hand when applying blush now. I started doing that this year so that I can use more product. Or else, it'll probably be years before I finish anything.

4. Marc Jacobs in Outspoken.  I didn't wear this that often last year, but this year, I wore it more often. I quite like it. It's different. On my cheeks, it doesn't look like lilac but more like a cool toned pink. I do feel that I have to use this with a heavy hand to have the product noticeable.

5. Benefit Hervana blush. I love the way this blush smells.  Other than that, it is pretty when I swatch it, but if I used a light fluffy blush brush, it doesn't show up. I would have to use my ELF powder brush to really get in there to have anything show up.  I kept it because I love the way it smells.

6. Dior highlighter in Pink Lace. This is another old one.  I just looked it up and it's from 2010!  I rarely use highlighters because I have an oily face. I just decided to use this because it felt like it was old.  It is.

7. Tarte Bronzer in Park Ave Princess. I use this to kind of contour? I'm not sure what I'm doing is really contouring but I do it.  It does add a nice effect. So I like it. Looks like I barely dented it but I've been using it every day for a year.

8. NYX Spice blush. I haven't actually used this yet. So I don't have any comment.

Lipsticks
I realized that I'm not much of a lipstick girl.  So, I just don't wear it that often. During my clean out, I cleared out a lot of my lipsticks for that reason.  Anyway, I kept some. Since it's harder to display, I'm going to highlight some.

1. Bite Beauty. I have it in Braised Maple, which is a very strong colour. So, I just do one small swipe, and spread out the rest of it.  I really like it and it's so lovely for autum.  I also have their minis in Fig and Date.

2. Urban Decay. I have three lipsticks. Naked, Streak and Fiend.  What I like about Urban Decay lipsticks is that it provides nice coverage but it's not too thick.

3. Shu Uemura. So this is what started my Japanese beauty brand obsession to reappear.  I really like these tinted gelato lip and cheek stains. I don't think it lasts that long but I just like the way it looks.  I have CR 02 in Momo Sweet and CR 04 Spiced Orange. I only dab a little onto my lip and I spread it out. I just like the look of it.  Adds a little bit of colour to my lips. Also, I use a little on my cheeks sometimes. It gives off a nice colour and natural (though the blush could be my fault since I keep mentioning about using a heavy hand).
